Plumas County Fair in Northern California

Plumas-Sierra County Fair Parade

One of Plumas County’s favorite summer traditions returns to Historic Downtown Quincy! The Plumas-Sierra County Fair Parade brings together colorful floats, local organizations, marching bands, equestrian groups, classic vehicles, and plenty of hometown pride.

The 2026 theme, “The Best of America! 250 Years,” celebrates our nation’s milestone anniversary with patriotic displays and creative community entries.

Dating back to 1945, the parade has long been a highlight of the Plumas-Sierra County Fair, affectionately known as California’s “Last Best Little County Fair.” Visitors are invited to line Main Street and enjoy this beloved tradition before heading over to the fairgrounds for even more family fun.

Interested in participating? Entry forms are due Friday, July 17, and volunteers are always welcome to help make the parade a success.
