Annual Pancake Breakfast

What’s a Memorial Day Weekend without the annual Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Peninsula Fire Department? “We are happy to be back flipping flapjacks and greeting our regulars and we hope many of our newcomers,” says Bruce Sherod, President of the Firemen’s Association. This is the fire department’s largest fundraiser with money going towards equipment and safety gear for the firemen.
The breakfast, May 30 from 7:00am to 12:00 noon at Station 2, includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, juice, milk and coffee. Along with “good eats,” there will be a drawing(s). Adults are $15.00 and children, 11 and under, are $10.00. Tickets can be purchased from 8:00am to 3:00pm at Station 2, 801 Peninsula Drive, Lake Almanor Peninsula inside gate of Lake Almanor Country Club.
