The Tour de Manure is Canceled for 2020

After consultation with Sierra County Health Department officials, the Tour de Manure steering committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Tour, originally scheduled for June 20th.

“With the predicted slow spread of the Corona-19 virus, and ongoing social distancing guidelines becoming the norm for the foreseeable future, it was decided that the prudent course of action was to put the health of our community and participants first,” said Mike Blide, director of this year’s Tour. “We want to thank all of our sponsors and volunteers, and let you know that plans for next year’s Tour de Manure are already going forward. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, June 19th, 2021!”

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2020, 8-9 am start times

Routes: 30 mile out and back, 42 mile loop, 62 mile loop. All routes are quite flat, and meander through the spectacular Sierra Valley.

Fees: $65 through June 6, $75 June 7-20, kids 12 and under $30

Ride is limited to the first 500 registrants

SAG support, t-shirt, aid stations, finish BBQ with live music
