Trail Angels bring watermelon to PCT Hikers at Bucks Summit Trailhead

Halfways Dayz

Celebrate community, adventure, and trail culture at Halfways Dayz in Quincy, California. This three-day gathering welcomes Pacific Crest Trail hikers, locals, and visitors for a fun-filled weekend in the heart of the Lost Sierra.

Festivities kick off Friday with check-in at the Plumas-Sierra Fairgrounds, including camping, showers, dinner, and live music. Saturday brings a full lineup of activities throughout town—from a pancake breakfast at the fire hall to swimming and a BBQ at Pioneer Park, plus a cornhole tournament, a movie at the Town Hall Theatre, and live music at Rich Bar.

On Sunday, attendees can enjoy a relaxed close to the weekend with optional church services (with provided transportation) followed by bowling and pizza at Sierra Bella Lanes.
