5080 Camp for Artisans & Crafters – Botanical Water Colors

Paint the flora & fauna of the Sierra in this two-day workshop with artist Kristine Palmer. Kristine will share the tools and painting styles she uses to create botanical watercolor paintings. Learn the step-by-step process to capture form and color in an approachable way. You will experiment with various watercolor techniques throughout the workshop while creating several compositions. Watercolor is a relaxing and meditative practice that encourages you to slow down and tune into your creativity as you focus on the flow of water and pigment. This class will inspire and energize both beginner and experienced painters.  Participants may bring their paints or purchase a paint kit for $35. 

If bringing your paint box, please include the following:

    Round 8 watercolor brush

    Full range of watercolors (Viviva, Windsor Newton Cotman, etc.)

    Mixing palette

    Graphite or mechanical pencil

    Eraser

Workshop Fee:    $325

Lunch and snacks are included.
