Experience the enchanting mix of second-growth woodlands filled with deciduous and evergreen trees. Keep an eye out for the impressive Sugar Pine tree located at marker seven, as these majestic trees are rarely found in the flats of Chester.Â
The trail also leads you through tranquil grassy floodplains, meandering channels, and serene beaver ponds. Portions of the path follow the North Fork of the Feather River, which gracefully flows into the stunning Lake Almanor.
