Gold Lake via Silver Trail

By Carrie Hawthorne

this peaceful 3.2-mile out-and-back hike to Gold Lake via the Silver Trail. Nestled in the foothills near Berry Creek, this moderately challenging route offers a rewarding experience for hikers, mountain bikers, and birdwatchers alike.

Winding through shaded woodlands and gentle climbs, the trail eventually opens to the shimmering waters of Gold Lake—an ideal spot for a quiet rest, a picnic, or simply soaking in the serene beauty. Wildlife sightings are common, and the quiet trail makes it easy to connect with nature. Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash.
