This moderately challenging route takes you through lush forests and alpine meadows, offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s a popular trail for backpacking, camping, and fishing, but you can still find solitude, especially during early mornings or late afternoons. Along the way, you’ll pass Grass Lake, Rock Lake, and ultimately reach the pristine Jamison Lake, known for its crystal-clear waters—a perfect spot for a refreshing swim on a hot summer day.

The trail steadily ascends, and as you approach the lakes, the landscape transitions into a serene alpine environment, making this trail ideal for those seeking both a workout and a beautiful natural setting. The best times to visit are from June through October when the weather is pleasant, and the lakes are fully accessible.
