8th Annual Courage Triathlon

The Courage Triathlon was created by correctional officers to raise money for Courage Worldwide, an organization which helps children rescued from sex trafficking. In August 2014 we tried our first sport fundraiser. Getting braver, we turned it into a triathlon in 2015 at beautiful Lake Almanor in Plumas County. The Courage Triathlon begins with a 2.8 mile run, transitioning to a 6.4 mile bicycle portion, then a 3.1 mile kayak/paddleboard will enable participants to finish the event where it began. It can be done solo or as a team. As mentioned above, all proceeds go to Courage Worldwide, a nonprofit organization helping young victims of sex trafficking. We are always looking for sponsors and dedicated volunteers. If you can help, please message us. Thank you.

The Courage Triathlon is a 2.8 mile run, 6.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile kayak. It can be done as a team of 3 or solo. come join us for a fun & inspiring experience!
