Frontier Days

Step back in time at Frontier Day at the Indian Valley Museum in Taylorsville! This free, family-friendly event celebrates life in the 1800s with a day of old-fashioned activities, contests, demonstrations, and community fun.

Dress in your best frontier-era attire and join the costume contest, or show off your facial hair in the men’s beard and mustache contest. Bring your best homemade pie for judging and test your skills in the watermelon eating contest.

Kids and families can enjoy creative activities, old-time games and toys, frontier-era demonstrations, and a hay ride. Food will also be available for purchase.
