Turkey Trot -Quincy

The Lost Sierra Circuit, in collaboration with @Healthy Body Fitness, has announced their 2024 Turkey Trot 5K! 🍂🏃‍♂️

This event promises a morning full of fun and community spirit, featuring a hydration station provided by the Plumas County Fire Safe Council to keep all runners refreshed.

Participants can choose their own adventure:

1. Speedy Division: A timed race with prizes for the fastest male and female finishers. 🥇

2. Pack Test Division: A challenging timed race for local forest employees wearing a 45-pound vest, with awards for top finishers in both categories. 💪

3. Chill Division: A family-friendly option where participants can bring their dogs and strollers. Everyone in this division will receive a special finisher gift! 🎉

Join in on a gathering filled with camaraderie, prizes, snacks, and the festive spirit of the Turkey Trot! This event honors the memory of Ryan Tompkins, who passed away in May 2024. His legacy of kindness and commitment to forest health will shine through this event, with all proceeds supporting the Fire Safe Council at his family’s request.
